1 Picnic Premium Subscription Plans
Picnic offers a free tier with core features and a Premium subscription that unlocks advanced features. Premium is available in two plans:
- Custom group sizes (from 4 to unlimited attendees, beyond the free tier maximum of 8)
- Multiple concurrent events (create more than one event per time slot)
- Verified-only event creation (restrict your event to verified users only)
- Advanced attendee filtering (age range, work status, reliability score threshold, and demographic preferences)
- Priority customer support
- Early access to new features
Picnic reserves the right to add, modify, or remove Premium features at any time. If we remove a feature that was a material reason for your subscription, we will provide advance notice and a prorated refund option.
2 Free Tier
The free tier of Picnic includes core features with the following limitations:
- Maximum group size of 8 attendees per event
- One event creation per time slot
- Standard attendee filtering options
Free tier features and limitations are subject to change. Picnic will provide reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce free tier functionality.
3 Billing and Renewal
All Picnic Premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store (for iOS users) or Google Play Store (for Android users). Picnic does not directly process, store, or have access to your payment information.
Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. The renewal charge is the same as your original subscription price, unless you have been notified of a price change in advance. Renewal charges are processed by Apple or Google through your account on file with them.
⚠️ Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, your Premium access may be suspended until payment is resolved through the applicable app store.
4 Free Trials
Picnic may offer free trial periods for Picnic Premium from time to time. If a free trial is offered, the specific duration and terms will be disclosed at the point of sign-up. If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial period, your payment method will be charged for the applicable subscription plan automatically.
5 Cancellation
You may cancel your Picnic Premium subscription at any time. Cancellation must be done through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings — you cannot cancel directly within the Picnic app.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
- Find Picnic and tap Cancel Subscription
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions
- Find Picnic and tap Cancel subscription
✅ What happens when you cancel
Your Premium access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged again after that date. Cancelling does not delete your Picnic account — you will retain access to the free tier features.
6 Refunds
Because all Picnic Premium purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests are governed by their respective refund policies. Picnic does not issue refunds directly.

- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Select the Picnic subscription purchase and choose Request a Refund
- Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or contact Google Play support
- Google generally allows refunds within 48 hours of a charge for subscriptions
🙋 Disputed charges
While Picnic does not control Apple's or Google's refund decisions, we will cooperate with any refund investigation and support your request where appropriate. If you have a dispute that Apple or Google has declined to resolve, contact us at legal@startapicnic.com and we will review the situation.
7 Price Changes
Picnic may change the price of Picnic Premium subscriptions at any time. If we change the price of your current subscription plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. The new price will take effect at your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to the new price, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Continuing to use Picnic Premium after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8 Account Termination
If your Picnic account is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, you will not be entitled to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees. Access to Picnic Premium will be removed immediately upon account termination.
