These Child Safety Standards are incorporated into and governed by Picnic's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
1 Our Commitment
Picnic is an adult social dining platform intended solely for users 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, or any behavior that endangers minors, anywhere on our platform or in connection with our services.
This policy applies regardless of a user's intent to use the platform for its intended adult audience. There is no exception, no warning, and no second chance for violations of this kind.
2 Age Requirements
Creating a Picnic account requires confirming your birthdate at signup. Picnic is only available to users who are 18 years of age or older.
Attempting to misrepresent your age in order to access the platform is a violation of our Terms of Service and of these Child Safety Standards, and will result in immediate account termination.
3 Prohibited Conduct
The following is strictly prohibited on Picnic, without exception:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Using Picnic to contact, groom, meet, or communicate with anyone under the age of 18
- Impersonating a minor, or using the platform to target minors in any way
- Any sexualized content or commentary involving minors
4 How We Respond
Any account found violating these standards is immediately and permanently banned. There is no warning tier for this kind of violation, consistent with our Community Guidelines enforcement policy for the most serious offenses.
We preserve relevant account and report information for as long as legally required, and provide it to law enforcement or regulatory bodies as required by law.
5 Reporting a Concern
If you see or suspect a violation of these standards, report it immediately. You can report any user, message, or event through the in-app report feature, or by emailing support@startapicnic.com.
All reports involving suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation are reviewed promptly and escalated appropriately, including to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or law enforcement where required by law.
🚨 If a child is in immediate danger
Contact local emergency services (911) first. Picnic's reporting system is not a substitute for emergency services.
6 Compliance
Picnic complies with all applicable child safety laws, including mandatory reporting obligations under U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A). We work with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law.
7 Contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety concerns is support@startapicnic.com.
Protecting kids from exploitation is not optional, and it is not up for debate. If you ever have a concern, tell us. We will act on it.
